1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website and cleaning services provided by Kleana Space ("we," "our," or "us"), a commercial cleaning company based in Inverness, Scotland.

By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our website or services.

2. Services

Kleana Space provides eco-friendly commercial cleaning services, including but not limited to office cleaning, retail park cleaning, carpet cleaning, and various specialised cleaning services for commercial and industrial customers.

3. Service Agreements

All cleaning services are provided subject to a separate service agreement. The specific terms of service, including scope, frequency, pricing, and payment terms, will be detailed in the service agreement provided to you after consultation and assessment of your needs.

In the absence of a signed service agreement, these Terms will govern any services provided.

4. Pricing and Payment

Our indicative average rate is £27 per hour, excluding VAT. The final rate is subject to the number of cleaning hours completed per week, the site requirements, complexity and accessibility. Pricing is confirmed following a site visit and review and will be agreed before services commence.

Payment terms are specified in your service agreement. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due within 30 days of invoice date. Late payments may incur interest at the statutory rate.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

For one-time services, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled service. For regularly scheduled services, please refer to your service agreement for specific cancellation terms.

If you need to reschedule a cleaning service, please contact us as soon as possible. We will make every effort to accommodate your requested changes.

6. Access to Premises

You are responsible for providing our cleaning team with safe and reasonable access to the premises. If our team cannot access the premises at the scheduled time, you may be charged a cancellation fee as specified in your service agreement.

With your agreement, Kleana Space may hold premises keys or act as a key holder so that our authorised cleaning team can enter at the agreed time and secure the premises when the work is complete. Many of our customers prefer this arrangement because it provides a safe, secure and convenient way to receive cleaning services without requiring a member of their team to remain on site solely to provide access or lock up.

Any keys entrusted to us will be handled responsibly, used only for the agreed services and made available only to authorised team members who require access. We will follow any reasonable access, alarm and lock-up instructions agreed with you.

7. Satisfaction Guarantee

We strive to provide the highest quality cleaning services. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our service, please notify us within 24 hours of service completion, and we will address your concerns promptly.

8. Liability

While we take all reasonable care during cleaning operations, we are not liable for any pre-existing damage or wear and tear to fixtures, fittings, or surfaces. Any concerns about potential damage should be raised before cleaning commences.

Our liability is limited to the cost of the cleaning service provided. We maintain comprehensive insurance coverage for our operations.

9. Website Use

Our website is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the operation or availability of the website. You use the website at your own risk.

The content on our website is for informational purposes only. While we strive to provide accurate information, we make no representations about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or suitability of the information.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Kleana Space and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content from our website without our prior written consent.

11. Site Images and Customer Publicity

We may take photographs or video of cleaning work and completed areas at customer sites for use on our website, portfolio, and social media channels. We will make reasonable efforts to protect customer confidentiality and avoid showing confidential information, personal data, security details, sensitive areas, or identifiable people without appropriate permission.

We may also display the names or logos of some customers in a customer banner on our home page or in similar promotional material. If you do not want your premises, images, name, or logo to be used in this way, please notify us in writing or by email at info@kleanaspace.com. We will record your preference and remove applicable material within a reasonable period.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our website or services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.
